Finally a post...

From the black, white, grey to the city neon light, the ever changing society JAPAN!

Third time to JAPAN, yet still so great!

This trip is totally free and easy and we have tried almost all types of transportation.. train, subway, ship, cable car, bus... except one, taxi which is damn expensive..( A taxi trip from the airport to the city centre equal an air ticket to Bangkok..imagine..)

Day 1

Flight to Narita. Took JL710 and the flight was almost empty. Its a codeshare flight with America Airline and British Airway. This is how airlines survive during this downturn. JAL even closed down their whole business class seats and we were free to move about in the airline. Feel free to change from this seat to that seat, thats exactly wat the stewardness told us to do. But too bad, it is still confined to economy class seats. HAHA.

Day 2 Shinjuku Tour

Arrived in Japan in the morning at around 6am. Took the Narita Express to Shinjuku station. Ard a hour and a half journey.

Reached Shinjuku station, just in time for their rush hour...

Shinjuku station is Tokyo second largest train station after Tokyo station. It accomodates 2 million travellers everday.. At first, it was quite confusing with the number of exits and platforms..

Checked in at Shinjuku Prince Hotel..

Good location in the centre of Shinjuku which houses many department stores and many eateries and also their very famous red light district, kabukicho. Lunch at one of their curry stall.. Nice nice..

Walk around Shinjuku..

Thats all for the first two days. ..More to come.. To be continued..

after working, i really feel the strong business culture differences among different nationalities. ang mo is much much better, they will joke with you, making e working environment more relax, not tensing everyone up. Asian is a little kiasu, they will press you for the itinerary. The worst I can say is Singaporeans. Always think that they rule the world. The worst thing still is that it is always the secretary that thinks she is very big, always complaining about this about that. Hello..ya rite, i know that we are service providers, but can you phrase in a better manner and stop criticizing others that they didnt send you e email which in fact they did. You are only a secretary; the real client is your boss! Communicating with the boss is so much better, they understand u better and will joke with u too! no authority at all. I cant say that everyone is bad, there are also nice secretary around. Spoke with airline staffs also. One guy from SIA spoke to me, nice people, i can say. Air France people is also great, although I kept on saying the wrong reference code, she is still patient with me.

Today, had a tedious itinerary to plan out. Although just a very short itinerary, the lack of airline seat will sometime make people faint. the number of class to consider, the different fare code, the choice of airlines...and meeting deadline of the clients..

ya..this job is great so far, at least one can make use of e brain to plan out itinerary. But it is a little constraint, no walkabout, haha. but after being expose to this job, i want to work for e airline maybe SIA..JAL..ANA...sale and marketing.. strategic product planning and marketing. Yeah. It is fun looking at the amount of marketing collaterals they send out and the strong competitions among airlines. Each of the airline really knows their competitors well.. Once their competitors market some promotions, they will start to react. This is really the real marketing world. So challenging!

I wan to go Japan! I wan to explore the world!
Leisure time is just so little when one go back after work. will start to feel tired and sleep. The next day is work again...plan to do things after work, but sleep overrides everything.

Byebye!

I need a phone! Sony Erisson W995 seem cool.!

i seriously don understand why someone don understand what is effort. from young, everyone has been saying to put in ur best in order to get recognize, but is this really the fact? Its not that we slack thru our way and anyhow anyhow do. I assure that OUR CLASS did not slack thru but what about ...' pls don make any assumption ok' but i know u know what i meant. the hand-drawn poster, the dance, learning a new instrument, all these add up to WHAT! Nothing!

maybe in the end, it not about what you do, it is about where u r!
read from e newspaper in e morning. THERE IS NO FAIRNESS IN THE WORLD.
maybe tis is the absolute truth and let us accept this and maybe we will feel better.
after all, its about living happily in the world.
